#10 you may have a point. these late nite talk shows are nothing more than advertising for the latest movie, book, cd or whatever. the actors have to go around and do these things to promote the movies they star in, it's part of their contract. I still think the whole thing with Paul Ruben (PeeWee Herman) years ago was just a way for him to get out of his contract with Disney. It worked!!

This is the sheer brilliance of this guy, wow what a great acting performance and not laughing during the whole thing. You can see right at the end he goes back to Dave and takes his glasses off to chat with Dave so for thos ethat think he was stoned or more forget it, the whle thing was a set up with the crew and Dave Great job

omg people, come on!! that was comical genius. They were trying to trip eachother up, and at the end, The host had the final laugh. He managed to meet the challenge head first and succeed. He made dude laugh. And that was the point. Who could have the most fun at the others expense.. In the end, it wasnt about overall laughs, but the final laugh, so congrats Letterman! Well played.. Sorry you couldn't be here tonight... Who cant laugh at that! Touche!!
