This was a real dust storm, I don't know if it really was in AU or not, but the thing's real enough.

"Real" means genuine. A "reel" is used for a spool of film or a spool of line on a fishing rod.

You wouldn´t see the lines on the road inside the storm if they didn´t have headlights on.

if you look closely they were using headlights, and it didn't help, that's bad, I think they had to edit out the part at the end where the semi-truck hit the car and destroyed them >:)
