thats a swedish player and its not fake. it was on a bunch of swedish news sites same day he did it. headlines on articles was saying "now peter forsebergs goal isnt the most epic" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vFu-PmXizs&feature=related thats peter forsbergs

Its not fake. It was all over the news here in sweden. Even I, totally uninterested in sports, saw it.

I saw it live on TV, it's from an Exhibition between Sweden and Switzerland March 31st 2009. Linus Omark who took the shot has played a great season in Swedish Elite Series. He's only 22 years old and on the way up!

He was actually quite LUCKY - it hit the crossbar. Had it hit in an even SLIGHTLY different position and/or spin, it would have missed. Fun to watch, though!

#10 maybe luck and a lot of practice helped him do it...anyway, that was great... i watched it two times even though it was replayed in slow mo.

I used to play hockey and have actually seen this happen in game. And for those saying luck, some of it is, but when I played, we were taught that shot. Basically all it is is getting it up fast when your close to the goal and getting it to hit under the crossbar, it almost always goes in. And believe it or not, I've seen crazier shots than this made. :)
