Awesome teamwork. Certainly an awesome video.

A note on the side. There is a lot of waste of material being carried away by the wind using that method.

Mexicans... cheaper than a simple conveyor belt. (Q): Do you know why Mexicans have refried beans instead of just fried beans? (A): Ever seen a Mexican that didn't f*ck something up the first time around. :P

But seriously I'm just kidding, I got nothing against em, I love taco's and well manicured lawns.

it's Mali though.... unless you've been, you wouldn't understand why it's like that. I'll bet that's bamako or sikasso where they are doing that, and people are cheaper then machines over there. A day's work like that, expect maybe 3-5$CAD.
Mind you they are not out there doing that past 11am so the day finishes pretty early

I agree with #16 two conveyors would do the work of 6 people each there, Save a lot of labor cost.

automation = unemployment
Picture of ughlah41 achievements

+2 21. ughlah commented 13 years ago

automation = people can work elsewhere, where it's more efficient

How come that in a country with millions of unemployed there is rubbish on the streets. Why is there noone to pick it up?

There is quite a few jobs out there that would pay less than social welfare pays. So all those jobs aren't done. Make people work at least 2 hours per day for their social welfare and there would be no unemployment at all.
