They are trying to put accross that their web browser doesn't have loads of unneeded buttons I think?

There actually is a slogan in this ad. Says "see all that crap in your browser window? Free your space, get yourself a Chrome".
Take a closer look at 0:23 - the second block from the right is set to margin-top: 1mm;

Well they're right. Chrome is very clean indeed. I don't find this vid very spectacular, but thumbs up because it's about google chrome (and I know that's not very subjective 
)

i love having tons of useless crap in firefox; what about me ? didn't appeal to me at all.

addons make firefox the better browser imo but if/when chrome gets addons then i might go check it out

addons are what make firefox a worse browser, but most definitely does increase their markets. The reason google chrome is much faster then firefox is because of the absence of addons... though google are going to implement addons to get a bigger piece of the market, lets hope those genius engineers can add it without a detriment to speed.

How about you get Opera and you get the speed and the 'most' useful add-ons. That's what I have been using for the last 5 years and it works great.
Sorry if this sounds like marketing on my part but I like sharing things that are good for me with other people.

I definetly agree with #11! Opera is the best browser. It hes the speed and simplicity of Chrome and it has lots of stuff built in that firefox needs addons for.

Don't get the addons. Those who get it don't get other aspects of what I consider a normal life! Fun and simple video though.

#14 I'm using Chrome.
Pro's of Chrome: it's 3 times as fast compared to Opera, it uses a JS-engine (which makes it 20 times as fast when it comes down to JavaScript) and every tab is an independed proces (good for memory managing and not the whole browser chrashes when 1 tab doesn't work..).
So yeah, I like it 
.
And i like it, Internet Explorer sucks!

maybe a little cool but i think they should have made it with animation.. as the browser itself has a nice design...
