Really makes me wonder how she got her license in the first place...

I guess drivers license controllers sometimes give these people their licenses just hoping they'll end up on SNOTR :)

#7 Sorry eddie but that is not the name of the tune. The tune is the 1963 hit "Yakety Sax" by American "Boots' Randolph. He played with the group Nashville Sound. Benny Hill just liked to use the catchy tune on his show. :)

well she's probably american, since they learn with parents and not an instructor, like you patriotaus right? in portugal you must park sideways, bypass a corner sidewalk in reverse and also invert direction, besides the normal road driving, in order to get your license.

#12 Dumbass, ALL high school students HAVE to take drivers-ed BEFORE they can get a drivers license in the US. What shit-hole of the world did you say you are from?
You are just another 'expert' who thinks he knows everything about the US. :(

#13 OMG Oldfart, that is so not true!!! I don't know any states that require Driver's Ed. In some states you can get your license earlier (15, 15.5) with driver's ed, but it's not required... But in USA's defense - I don't think it was anywhere here in North America because all the cars were too small and I didn't see a single extended-cab 4X4 pickup truck go by :D

All you girls squabbling about where it is hardest to learn to drive would have a major heart attack if you had to sit the Drivers Test in the UK.

i am from australia, and for my state, we do have to get driving lessons, and we are supposed to do heaps of 'operations' like parallel parks but the guy who gave me my license knew my driving instructor who told him i was good. so just saved some time.

and wtf #12, are you mentally disabled? how am i an american

#15 Here is the requirement for teens in Virginia to obtain a drivers license and is similar to the requirements country-wide.

Drivers 19 years of age and older must either show proof of state-approved driver education completion OR have a learner's permit for at least 30 days before applying for a license.

If you're 19 or older and getting a license for the first time, you must have either completed a state-approved driver's education program OR had a learner's permit for at least 30 days. Once you can show proof of one of those requirements, you can head to the DMV to take the road test and receive your license.

Teen Driving Program

In order to reduce driving-related deaths among teens, the state of Virginia has instituted a number of limitations and requirements for teens getting their licenses for the first time. According to these new statutes, teens from the age of 15 1/2 to 18 must:

1. Apply for a learner's permit at a local DMV office.
2. Complete a state-approved driver's education program.
3. Log 45 hours of driving practice with a parent or guardian.
4. Have a learner's permit for at least nine months.
5. Receive a driver's license at the licensing ceremony.

Portugal is a great place , you should really try it .
Very pleasant .
Apart from being treated like a "heroin addict , (their words)" by hotel owners (due to the beard and ass-long hair) I really , really liked the place and will be going back .
Much better than France (don't get me started , the fuckers) .

Oh , ain't Google translate great ;-)

To #13 Massachusetts requires drivers Ed for anyone at any age. When you do go you have to have a parent or spouse go to a class, also. It is required, you also have to have 45 hours with your permit and 20 hours in drivers ed class, or you cannot get your license.
