Speeding, no one thinks big of you
Probably one of the saddest commercial compilation you will ever come across.
*warning* - violence, blood and death scenes!

Send something like that on TV, that might get people to think more about their driving!

#2 .. these are all public commercials that have circulated televisions in many countries in the past years.. Some of them even made it to my country
I generally have mixed feelings about going fast on the roads.. This one is a very good show-stopper though..
10/10 Excellent!

Awesome compilation. They really made the video very well and graphic. Most of them looked so real.

i saw it again..and the one with the seat belt also made a hell lot of sense...really educational
12 Posted 240 days ago by zerorain
that song made it worse...
dont know why people go over 100mph since u waste gas and tires. those are hella expensive.
thats why i never speed...
also knowing that i have to go to traffic school is scary enough.
they should have more of these during drivers ed classes*

I was crossing the road in downtown Vancouver(my home town) when a drunk speeder in a extended cab F250 hit me, i flew more than 35 feet in the air, landed on my head, the initial hit from the truck broke my femur in two, making it bust out of my leg. After flying through the air I skidded another 10 to 15 feet scrapping my femur bone along the road, damaging it more and filling it with dirt and debri. Then I had to go into the hospital go for a 5 hour surgery, had a titanium rod permanently implanted through my broken femur. And after being bed ridden for months, and then going to a walker to crutches to a cane, and then finally walking without anything, after all that, after close to two years I am still walking with a sore leg, hip acts up, back gets sore, shins and neck pains. I haven't had any money from ICBC (Insurance corporation of British Columbia) for loss of wages, because I was looking for work at the time and not actually working. On top of it all my fiance/girlfriend of 5 years decided not to come visit me in the hospital because she said she couldn't get time off work, and didn't have a ride. I guess she never heard of public transit. Needless to say shes gone, and I am still in pain. I used to be so active, playing sports everyday, hiking, God the things were endless, now I sit inside and ...... and what I don't cry if thats what your waiting for, its just that man this whole thing seriously screwed my life. Big time. I am sure the gf thing is for the better, who really wants to be with someone like that. But seriously I got fuckin screwed. But you gotta keep you head up, and take life day by day. No matter what obstacles we are faced with. Time doesn't stop for nobody. So all we can do is keep truckin along.

Fantastic ads.
If these don't make you think and drive a bit more sensibly.
And think about what your actions while driving can lead to.
Then your a complete tosser.

#18 : you are really an idiot :@
video has a great deal of education, we should learn something on it ha?
still I dont drive but look at these things, how could I?
21 Posted 240 days ago by cmuffuletto
How sad, but we can learn from these mistakes and not let our arrogance or lack of attention destroy our lives, those near and dear to us and others around us.

the school kid and van incident didnt really have much to do with speed, the kid just walked out from behind a vehicle without checking to see if anything was coming so it was a bit his fault aswell.
message to all speed freaks out there, keep the speeding to the track/autobahn

#22, yes it does, it is a school zone and you need to drive safe and watch out for kids as they are unpredictable. A lot of these ads are Australian government ads to stop idiots killing kids, themselves and their mates. Some of these ads worked really well which shows that #23 is an idiot, and really, if you are educated you wouldn't be stupid enough to speed anyway.

Fact is, even with commercials like this, people never learn until this happen to them... That's just sad.

This made me stop driving without a license
Here in Dubai you'd have to be at least 18 to get your driving license, though many drive without driving license, i think i should send this video to some people i know...
Thanks SnotR.com ![]()

All but the second and last clip were irish ads.
It was part of a campaign to combat the incredible number of deaths on irish roads. They caused uproar because they were(intentionally) shown during the day, before the "watershed" which is the time violence is allowed to be shown on tv. Ireland still has one of the highest road death figures in europe![]()

good video...makes u think about what speed can do. im not dead against speed i just think theres a time and place for it. is it me or does this video seem completely based on men as if women never do it
32 Posted 238 days ago by eNdEmiOn06463
This has little to do with speeding but more to do with not paying attention while driving.
1. Looking at a girl.
2. Simply not paying attention straight road.
3. Some idiot parked in/around a corner.
4. Crossing without looking.
5. Unclear what exactly happened but it advertises dumb bad luck.
6. Stupid reaction to an animal crossing somewhere where you can expect animals crossing.
7. Rest of it macho crap, I give 'm that.
So always think 3 steps ahead and remember shit happens.

#32
5 and 6 are same
great vid got me thinking honestly but after watching about 10 times in row i can now tell(after the shock disapeared) that this cant be simply all blamed on drivers
1. sure he was looking at that girl but also why were they walking on a road as you can see at 0:05
2. ok that was clearly his fault but honestly what are the odds of this happening?
3. not clear well i dont know what is speed limit there but asuming he was speeding its his stupidy but that guy changing tires also pretty stupid
4. clearly boys fault besides he was basicaly hidden behind jeep so the driver couldnt see him its quite clear at 1:29
5. now that quite hard to tell simply put as #32 said just dumb luck, let me ask you what would you do at his place?
6. now that even tho it may sound cruel was kinda funny, i mean if you cant even buckle up than serouisly just go shoot yourself in head
overall this has hardly anything to do with speeding
but i would point out one sentese that was in this vid too
PAY ATTENTION OR PAY THE PRICE

#14 That's a sad story you have and I hope things get better for you. Why aren't you able to sue the drunk that hit you for damages and pain and loss of ability to work for 2 years or so? It seems he should be responsible for the carnage he caused.

I am speaking as/from a frequent speeder in cars among the public. This video reached into my soul and snatched out the very desire to drive fast ever again. I was of the thought I could control and predict the situations that could arise (from speeding)and never really getting slapped by the reality as to what really does happen every day to people like my self that ruin so many other peoples lives and familys. All over driving habbitslike mine. I am sending out a HUGHE thank you to the makers of this video because I truley am changed inside and am not going to continue any more, with God as my witness, to be an irresponsable, life threatening person behind the wheel from here on out. I am a male driver of 49 years of age who was going on 16. I feel very lucky to have not caused any harm to anyone (that I know of) in all the years of speeding I have done. This video just ...snatched the high speed , reckles driver right out of me. I hope it gets shown all over the world where people drive autos. It should be shown to all driver improvement classes in stead of all the BS that is talked about and shown. Thanks again for saving some lives...like my own, not to mention the inocent lives. Steevon

What an incredibly powerfull video. As a former EMT I have seen the carnage first hand and this sums it up pretty well. If you see this video, please think of those you care for deeply and remember to drive safely!

LOL - texting "Hi!" when you're standing right in front of someone. Fucking kids these days, I swear. As we hide behind our technology more and more our people skills are going to become non-existent. In some cases, they already are. I thought the video was a great comp and a good wakeup call for all the meatheads out there. Be aware!

Awesome! Incredible production values. I would hope it would get thru to the F-ing morons, but from what I have learned from them over the years, they have to plow into a bunch of people of their cohort [mates, buddies], to get thru to them. We are all better off, when they take themselves out, before harming anyone else. But we have to be on the watch for them, just in case.

Sad as it may be, it was very educational to see.
