What is so great about the "filming job"? This is a movie. Those are trained animals.
Quote from the IMDB "in reality, wild, male bears usually eat bear cubs if they can".

i remember this show. when i was little 4 or 5 i cried when the mama died. great movie. ![]()
#15
"if they can"
which is pretty much all the time, because i can't think of anything in nature that's going to stop an adult bear
#18 Orcas eat Polar bears when they can catch them in the water and polar bears are usually larger than Browns. Also large male walruses have killed Polar bears while defending themselves.
And then there is the trusty .300 Weatherby Magnum which can take down just about any animal on earth (but I guess that is not considered "in nature".) ![]()
this movie is called "the bear" and it's a trully sad movie
(makes me cry every time). every christmas this film was beamed on french tv few years ago.

I take it this is a nature movie and not a nature documentary?! its so choreographed - just seems fake and stupid to me...watch BBC nature docs they blow this away!
I can't believe some of you people still don't get it after #'s 7,13,15,17,& 21 SAID it was a movie! Try reading some of the other comments first before making your own and sounding like a buffoon.
It is just a nice movie about the lives of some animals. ![]()

Great job by the camera man... but the sound guy should be fired on the spot!!! Much better without sound...
