Looks like great fun! I'd have a shot, but I think I'd wear a helmet and get some brakes just in case ;)

This guy won't make it to a ripe old age if "dare-devil" is his middle name. By the looks of it he already has lost one eye (eye patch) and I don't know what happened to him at the end when he went out of view and the rope went slack. It didn't even have rear wheels!

I think we should have National centers for this, just so we can eliminate the shallow end of the gene pool.

#4 I noticed the back wheels missing as well. Talk about being in the "hot seat"!!!

#5 you're right, excellent place for the helmet to be, in the trunk. it's obvios this guy has no brains to damage anuway so I think the helmet would have been moot.

I can so many dangerous and deadly things that could happen, but it still looks like lots of fun!!!

haha this looks like a lot of fun. but, i don't see the need for the UK police to make this illegal, the people that do it probably don't stay around too long

some set off balls on this kid lol

Why do people insist on activity's that will eventually end their lives?

Personally I am happy they do cause it makes gg vids for Snort but I just don't get it :)

lol the title says the police is against it coz its too dangerous and everyone believes that... dont listen to the media and government - they try to take the fun out of everything so they can sell it to us later (by building some shitty rollercoasters or makeing a tv show about some jerk who is doing "death defying stunts";) ...

And to every1 who is complaining about the helmet
His head is aprox. 50 cm off the ground ... so when he falls off he doesn't hit the ground really hard - he ll just get some grazes and maybe some burn marks and he is wearing long cloth and gloves in that case (so he isn't totally stupid)
The car is going with a speed of max 40 km/h - i sometimes ride my bike faster then that and i dont use a helmet either ... (and believe me if you get droped off your bike you land much harder)

The ONLY dangerous thing i can imagine is when the guy in the car steps hard on the brake - and i dont think he would do that coz we all know what would happen...
They even do it on a single-lane-road ...

I dont think they bought the hemlet for this ride - i bet they usually ride their motorcross bikes - i am 100% sure they know what they are doing!

#9 no you got no brain if you think its coz of the few hits on youtube - its because of the sweet adrenalin rush and the fun!

so my final words:
WTF is wrong with you all?
This just looks like fun! Why are you complaining and crying about it? Are you guys that retarded to believe everything some "official" source tells you?
I mean go and watch Nitro Circus - they are doing much more dangerous and stupid stuff and i bet none of you morons would ever comment a Nitro Circus Video with insults - and let me guess - because its sponsored by MTV - so its okay if you risk your life when a big filmcrew is around

PS: sry for my "bad language" and pls dont delete my post, but i really hate hypocritical comments

#18 I agree with most of your comments EXCEPT the part about the brain-bucket not being necessary because of his heads close proximity to the ground....if he were to slide wide and smash his head into a sign post a helmet might mitigate the extent of his injuries. :)
Having raced AMA motorcross when I was younger and now riding a Harley doesn't leave me much authority to talk about doing only "safe" activities, but at one of the motorcross races a competitor was riding his mx bike slowly down a hill just going to the port-a-john when his front wheel stuck in a rut and the bike flipped over, landing on his helmet-less head and killing him.It doesn't hurt to take some precautions.
BUT.....screw the government trying to control us on every little bit of fun! >:)

yeah bad things can happen all the time :/ .... but a helmet has a downside too because of its weight neck injuries are much more likely then without one

ps: what audio track is that in the background :)?

#20

it's ironic how sometimes safety measures can become life-threatening. a friend of mine was in a car wreck and was thrown through the windshield. if he had been wearing a seatbelt and remained in the vehicle, it was determined from the damage to the car that he would have died.

That would have went better with some Dukes of Hazzard music. Redneck is universal I guess.

I'm amazed none of the wheels snapped off. Now that I think was the biggest risk. Imagine what could happen if 1 of the wheels snapped of and the metal corner anchored into the read. He would have been launched.
But more risk, more fun.

About the no brakes comments, no wheels at the back so he's constantly braking.
