Wow, either the engine in this RC is VERY strong or the RC plane is very light or maybe both?? It's amazing that his RC engine can change rotary direction in a second (while it was standing on it's nose). In other words AMAZING
Does gravity even apply to that plane , amazing skills , it seems to stop in mid flight at some points it must weigh nothing
#4 It has a collective pitch prop, he can adjust the pitch of the pitch of the prop with the transmitter, allowing him to hover like that. The plane is most likely made of foam and actually doesn't have a very powerful motor, it is just incredibly light and has a lot of lift. If you like this, you should see what Eric Larson can do with R/C helicopters. ![]()
#9 is correct. Here is a short video that explains the prop being used.
These foam planes are incredible.

That is beautiful to watch. I love seeing something I've never seen before. Magic!
#12 thanks for posting that - awesome i thought they doing it by letting the motor spin in the other direction - but this is much cooler (and faster i guess)
yeh its all very light made of foam, i have one just like that but a smaller, its insanely easy to fly, but damn that takes skills to fly like that!
Take that combustion engines!
You could never do that without a trusty 96% effective electrical motor

At 00:33 in this clip, a calm song is playing, can anyone tell me what's called? Sounds like something from Shrek.
thx
Not bad, but I would have been more impressed if the plane was slightly more realistic and was behaving a little more like a traditional plane.
Still impressive to be able to control any device that well though!
not bad? what the hell does it take to impress you then?! this is outstanding!!! the way he makes it float and hover is incredable

Skills Indeed - Although I'm sure theres the technology to do this without human control now...
