To me it looks genuine... I know because it happens quite often to me when hurrying up the stairs. If I don't have a proper grip on the foot, it shoots out like a rocket.

It may be fake or not ...I don't care but let me just say something for the people who say the way his feet move is not natural and it is staged/fake :
STFU ! My friend fell down the stairs EXACTLY the same way ! He hit hes head too (he is ok) and his foot went up into the air just like in this video...in fact it is picture perfect !
I slipped too ...and my feet did the same thing !

I didn't read the comments, so I don't know what you guys think of this, but I think something is fishy. I work in the film industry and the videographer that took this did a terrible job at off-centering the speaker... I mean terrrrible job. Which makes me think they intended to add mr thruster in the video from the get-go. That's my two cents

Dude its real. Ive dropped several times like that. And he wasn't that badly hurt because like normal humans he used his hands to avoid bashing his face in. Its normal insticts. Well some of you lot must stand still when confronted with a car flying towards you. But normal people jump or position our hands in such a way that it doesn't damage as much as it could.

#4 if he stuk his hand out befor he fell was befor he was about to fall so he stuck his hand out u would do that to cuz u noe u were about to fall its a reaction that everyone uses if i run and i noe i cant keep up and im about to fall ill have my hand out to hold on so i dont fall all the way
