It's from the new series of Walk on the Wild Side on BBC One. I saw it this afternoon, it was very cute! Had me in stitches :)

for the record, that's not a hamster, it's a prairie dog, they live in what's called colonies (family groups) in the plains of the US and this particular guy was probably the lookout giving the sound of alarm, but it's really a bark, they don't actually say "Alan" LOL I had one as a pet for a few years, very sweet rodents

I loved the shark part, priceless!!

#17 you could be right, I will admit, it's very hard to tell from this short video as the 2 animals are VERY similar, they belong to the same family and are related. I think the main difference between the 2 is where they live. Either way, they're cute and the video is funny!!!

They're pretty much all the same animal. If you check up on them, they all belong to the same animal group from the top of the chart to the bottom (ie: Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus) and don't differ until you finally get to the final classification of "Species"
I think the only thing that truly differentiate them is where they live. In the case of the Marmot, a completely different continent. But all in all, they pretty much the same and since none of us were there for the filming we can't be sure.
Whatever he is, he can talk and he's VERY worried about Alan!!!
