wow, there is nothing this driver(Point of view) could have done to avoid that, it was instant. hope they were ok
was the black car trying to drift? they should install some concrete barriers in the middle of those highways.
This is not in mainland china because they are driving on the left side of the road,
however it could be in hong kong or japan

Lucky there wasn't a passenger in the black car, that would have been a heavy side impact.

thats china for sure cuz its the same driveing direction as america hong kong is the other driveing direction
Looks more like Japan to me, judging by the hieroglyphs on the asphalt.. The van was also kind of suzuki-looking =P

I truly hope the occupants lived through this. Of course I don't know. There is no mention anywhere if people survived or not. I think the posters of this kind of video owes something to those involved to at least try and investigate the details first. What could have been someone's last moments on Earth is now being used as minor entertainment on a web site. Does anyone else agree?

lol...why you guys argue if its china japan or whatever? Does it matter? its about the crash..not about where it happened....but really no chance to avoid it..no time to react
#15 lol.. that's probably some amish community where they drive on the left side of the road in america.
As for the country this could be in, pretty much looks like Japan. Even the cars look japanese.
If this were in China they'd gone through the windshield. No-one wears a seatbelt here. Even tho the law says you have to and it is a commonly known fact that the belt increases your chances of survival in a crash by 300-500%. ![]()

and the guy in the black was trying to drift around the corner because he had just watched tokyo drift.

By the way...the horn you hear is because the driver's head is impaled in the steering wheel ![]()
#23 I'm no mathematician but does that mean it saves your life 3 to 5 times over?
I'd hazard a guess the figure should be something like 70%
Terrible crash, I hope everyone involved survived.
#35 It just means that you are 3 to 5 times more likely to stay alive. For example: 17.5% survival rate with no belt and 70% with belt on. That's really a huge improvement for such a small effort.
#34 is correct. It is Japan. You can indeed tell by the katakana on the truck and the piece of license plate you see on the front of the demolished white car. Absolutely horrible. But as someone who lives (and drives) in Japan, I am really NOT surprised, the way people drive around here. I see idiots like that on the road every day and I'm seriously surprised that I haven't seen more such accidents.
