Rate me negative, but i really dont get the joke..didnt even make me smile..the lil girl is cute for sure..but the clip..i dont know
According to Wiki...
"In April 2007, Ferrell launched "Funny or Die", a streaming video website where short comedy films are uploaded and voted on by users. The site features The Landlord, starring Ferrell and Funny or Die co-founder Adam McKay. Ferrell's character is harassed for the rent by his landlady, a swearing, beer-loving, two-year-old girl (played by McKay's daughter, Pearl). Child psychologists have criticized Ferrell and the McKay family for child exploitation, to which McKay responded:
Fortunately she is in this great stage now where she repeats anything you say to her and then forgets it right away, which is key. She has not said the 'B-word' since we shot the thing.
—Adam McKay"
I swear the Landlord clip is around here somewhere, but I couldn't immediately find it.

Don't assume that because she seems to be in dialog with Ferrell, that she is actually having a conversation.
The series of clips is strung together to SEEM continuous. That is how movies are made.
And yes, without reenforcement (repetition over time with gaps in between) 2-year olds WILL forget what they say. If they do not attach useful meaning to a word (reaction from others at a minimum, plus reenforcement)they will not retain it.
Hard to understand how anyone would think the kid understands the implications of what she is saying, especially the coments from those who don't seem to understand the implications themselves! (not based on comments here, but on many others involving kids and adult situations)
In particular, I think of people such as the child psychologists #11 mentioned.
Don't they have a CLUE? Have they not read their own journals?
Probably NOT - so many psychologists are arrogant and 'wing-it' and come to errant conclusions and make false predictions about final results based on knowing just the basics of how brains work and poorly-controlled and unvetted studies. Fools!
Anyway ... the expressions and the manner are SO cute!
and the little girl is, too.
