Since you have to be pretty fast on your feet to catch criminals as a cop you need good leg work. That's what this is about. It's not that funny, but still it is a nice exageration. Today however being a cop is mostly donuts.

I gotta be honest, it grew on me. The second time was a tad funnier than the first. But yeah, it is British humor, very, very, D-R-Y. ![]()

This is from an old show called "A bit of Fry and Laurie" starring Steven Fry and Hugh Laurie.
The series itself was pretty good. This sketch is a simple exaggeration of "leg work". The joke is more amusing than it is funny.
If you don't get it, just move on to the next video of some kid getting sacked.
#2 its Hugh Laurie. He is Gregory House, from House MD. He was also in Blackadder, A bit of fry and laurie, and stuart little![]()
The comments to this made me laugh. #3 and #(removed comment) are young and don't know what it refers to, so asked what it is. #7 is older and just deemed it shit because he didnt understand it. This is why children are brilliant.

it's a simple play on words. Police do a lot of 'leg work' meaning they have to walk around everywhere, so they changed leg work to another meaning... really if you don't get it, you have problems
