When i want to watch it again i just click "play" again - i don't need a slightly slow motion version after or different camera angles or to carry on listening to that crap music...

#3 that wasnt a lucky shot...it's obviosly he did that on purpose
it may be true that he has practiced that shot for a long time but no way something like taking the puc on your bat and making a spin with it aiming to score is luck

skilled kid

Oliver Wahlstrom plays for the Portland Junior Pirate Pee-Wee Major 97s, a team of 12-year-old players based in Maine. Except Wahlstrom is JUST 9 YEARS OLD, playing up with older competition. One look at this goal, and you can see why. It also doesn't hurt that his father, Joakim Wahlstrom, was a 10-year veteran of the Swedish Elite League.

According to NESN, that stunning tally came during the taping of the TD Bank Mini 1-on-1, a series that will debut during the first intermission of the Bruins' game against the New Jersey Devils on Oct. 29. It's also shown in-game at the TD Banknorth Garden.

Expect to see this kid in the NHL draft in about 10 years; could be the next Sidney Crosby! He was interviewed on ESPN and said his favorite player is Jeremy Roenick. 9

I look forward to someone checking his smug little trick arse out of the game. Hockey is for men not pussy trick shot shooters like that.

p.s

In a skills comp though its fine and fun.

#8 Yeah, so u mean what? 12 120 kg guys pushing the puck against each other? No, it's a skill game as any sport. There are more ways to defeat opponent other than brute force. Cheers.

i play hockey myself and the trick about the trick is to get it off the ice and on the stick. All though it does not require some kind of supertalent to do it you just need alot of time practicing it.

2 monkey-heads for being half swede :(|) :(|)

To say there was no luck involved is very ignorant. There is a lot of skill involved, but luck is a matter of consistency, and it's very unlikely that he could consistently make that shot. I'll give him mad props for risking a shot like that under pressure.

i think #3 is right... im a sportsman myself, and we ALWAYS rely a little bit on luck. And with super-feats like that, its mostly luck (but without proper skills its just impossible, of course)
