Man, they overdid it. But i liked the part where the bald guy actually splash the hot water to the other guys. You think it is fun? Have a taste of your own medicine.

Japanese game shows...I think you have to be Japanese to get the humor...I mean it is funny, but I absolutely don't get the thing where they climb onto that bowl of what, shaved ice? rice? snow? I bet it would scare the crap out of someone, but then again they looked like they knew something was gonna happen, right? Weird.

These guys have a regular show which comprises of improvisation and sort of pranks. Over New Years they have a show where they aren't allowed to laugh for 24 hours (if they do they get whacked with a big stick every time) and the 24 hour period comprises of pranks like this the whole time, they're put in some extraordinary situations.
I wouldn't feel sorry for that guy too much because he will laugh just as hard if it was someone else.
