Buffalo is attacked by lions, then by crocodiles, by lions again, and is saved by a Buffalo herd his mother gathered.

The video is a little slow at first, but then at 2:50 when the Buffalo come back in force it gets interesting. Its amazing to watch what goes on in animal communities. And how they watch out for one another.

This is known as "the battle at kruger" and is a really amazing video, too bad that the intro gives all the surprises away.

WTF!? All that amaizing action going on outside,and their kid is still uninterested and continues playing that annoying gameboy or whatever it is.Humankind is doomed...

that was awesome i think for little kids though like 5th graders they need to tone it down a little

This Video is So awesome because this is the first time anyone has ever captured on film a herd turning around to rescue one of there own. The event was so astounding that the National Geographic bought this video from the tourist(they were on a tourist bus in Africa).
The National Geographic said that they didn't know that herds of Water Buffalo even did this!

But it could have been much better if David Attenborough filmed it with his team.

also, there's better quality versions, without the dumb blurred edges all over the net.

I saw this a while back on Discovery or NatGeo and according to the narrator, after the Cape Buffaloes rescued the calf they went on to find and stomp to death the lion cubs that had been hidden not too far away.Payback of a sort.
