Its all about keeping the nose up, something you can forget about once the wheels hit the deck.

That was only about 65% throttle and the props were feathered as well

I don't know what it takes to take off, but I'm sure the pilot has his shit together enough to get out of there by the way he landed. Nice job. I'd hate to pay for that fishing trip. :D :D

Skilled pilot for sure. My Dad used to fly on these things up in Northern Ontario, Canada. Said he had some pretty scary landings and take offs.

I would never consider landing on an iced lake, no matter where, or for how long it had been iced. lol
