#17 Large ships are built in floating dry-docks that are open on each end and have chambers that can be flooded to make the whole dry-dock sink deep into the water, allowing the new ship to float as water fills it up.

#21 Since I used to work as a machinist at a shipyard I did not need wiki to describe the workings of a floating drydock. Your explanation though was aimed at 3rd graders it seems. (built in a "pool" ? ) haha....dumbass >:)
