I once read that (at least the Danish Vestas) these wind turbines has a speed around 220 km/h, for maximum efficiency. Thats gotta hurt like hell!

Love how the greenies demand alternative energy and then it starts whacking birds out of the air! ROFL I can hear them in the background screaming NO, NO!

Poor bird... Looks like its in pain ![]()
Wind turbines are green and good for the environment... but now we cant make em because of the birds.. geez.
Give us nuclear power! Give it to us now! (I'm from denmark, and electricity prices are probably the highest in the world along with our taxes)

You do realize that wind turbines are absorbing wind energy that is used to change the worlds climate. The more we make the more wind is absorbed, hence less climate change around the world.
Those wind turbines are really bad, The kill on average 15-20 birds a year, don't produce that much energy and require about 1,500tonne for a base.
Thou its an ugly looking bird - but still it didn't deserve that. Normally they are on looking downwards so something coming from above is very unexpected for them. But imagine whats happends in regions with lots of migrating birds, especially during nights. ... The windturbine tech need some improvement ![]()

#16 "Wind turbines are green and good for the environment..."
How's whacking wildlife out of the air, "good for the environment"?
Love the irony of the environmentalist's thinking.

Stupid humans not thinking of how this shit affects nature before we build this useless crap.

#28 is right. maybe we should burn more coal instead of posting a few propellers in the air..

#(removed comment), you are wrong,
#15, you are right
bird's mind on the ground : WTF! huh? where am I? WHO the F*CK AM I?
And why are those people staring at me ? ![]()
#31 You are wrong.Zooming out would not cause the bird to look like it suddenly moved to the left and then back again. The camera panned left and that is what caused the apparent bird movement, not the fact that it also zoomed out.
