Austria also sucks in football/soccer but my tryings in discard our national team ended badly .... for me. Hate it to live in a country which thinks football is a create sport.

Funny thing to say especially considering "soccer" was invented hundreds of years before your so called football...that you play with your hands...
In Europe FOOTBALL is the biggest thing in sports and you do know a pro football player is worth 8 times more than an american hand...excuse me "football" player.

football is beautiful and so is futbol, anyone who says otherwise doesn't understand the game/games or just plain ignorant. but if you wanna argue about naming - #6 sums it up pretty well.

The Mayan Indians played it with a lot of emotion... The losing team was killed. Playoffs were brutal. Losing team fans were killed as well. Brings a tear to my eye, such team spirit.

only in the US it is known as soccer. The rest of the world knows it as football.

#12 there is no such thing as soccer !
football was around before America was even discovered ! And hundreds of years later americans invented a sport they play 95% with their hands ...and for some strange reason decided to call it football. It soon became confusing and then they started calling the ORIGINAL sport of football (the one you actually use your feet to play) soccer.
The least you can do is respect the sport's name considering it has a rich history behind it.
Agreeing with #13 american football players think they are tough but they play the sport in body armor like they work for the bomb squad or something.... and thy spend 10 minutes getting ready to play for 5 seconds...and then spending another 10 minutes getting ready to play another 5 seconds.
Here is a nice little tip for you..make the game fluid ...maybe people in the rest of the world would not fall asleep watching it.

#(removed comment) the moment a goal is scored is so electric and it sends shock waves around the word ! If it would have been 36 - 59 a goal would have lost all it's power... but you wouldn't know what i'm talking about...you never experienced a goal in the 90th minute
The reason you don't see a lot of goals in one match is because it's so well balanced ! Look at a game between a pro first league team and a division C team and you will see a 11 - 0 score but nobody likes that...because it's unbalanced...but again...what would you know?
