WOW, that just hit a spot, my family and I stayed there in 1994 while my kids were young. Always great watching a building get imploded and that one was special, didn't know they did that one till now. Thanks snotr. By the way,I lost my ass in that one too. :'( :D

;) #10 The vacuum deposition of gold on the glass helps to reflect the heat from the brutal Vegas sun. I'm sure they did it for the look as well.

Implosions are very cool! :D It was sad watching this when it was on the news years ago since one more landmark of the old Vegas was being retired. Thanks for posting this, was fun watching it again. 8-)

Looks like the TWEEN TROLLS are in full force. Makes you wonder what their parents are doing while the kids are allowed to stay up so late during winter break.
