#1 Both you and maybe Michelin as well seem to be limited in thinking about the possibilities. I want some for my BIKE right now. Never a flat tire again ever.

Michelin shelved any plans to make these for cars for several reasons. Tread life was shorter, Turning harder, Ride was harder, and they made a lot of noise.
Some have criticized how Michelin designed it's "Tweel" as the main problem and are continuing to promote a better design.

#(removed comment) i was thinking about stuff getting stuck in them too, but then I though about dirt roads and rocks being thrown out of them at higher speeds than regular tires. these would need to be closed in or they would be far too dangerous. And they showed them being used on quads, most quad users go through mud and water, i could see these being crap compared to regular quad tires.

#4 is spot on, will the tweels you just spent a lot of money on deform from the weight of the vehicle as it stands still for any length of time, after all it looks like it utilises the same material for what could be spokes as the surface that makes contact with the ground.

It also isn't gonna work on 2 wheeled vehicles at least not in its current form.

On a serious note, its a good idea but designed for low speed...c'mon no one wants that...
