the motorcycle trick is a classic... we saw it in math class while studying the barycenter. the stick beneath allows him to stay steady. it's like when you balance two forks on the edge of a toothpick. still, though, mad props, takes balls of steel to pull that off.

Regarding the chair stunt, what you're not shown is the safety net just a few feet below the old fart, obscured from the camera view by the wall and camera angle.
And as far as the cycle stunt goes, due to the lowered centre of gravity of the bike by the bar slung below it, it is impossible for the bike to tip over and fall off the rope.
So, as you can see, two total non-stunts by an old fart who should be back at the old farts home having his incontinence nappy changed... like bud.
