I guarantee I would have pulled the head off that goose so fast you wouldn't even believe it, and I would be DONE eating it by now. ummmmmm...

The goose is obviously smarter and faster than the guy in the kayak.
The goose took him out very quick! The guy never saw it coming. In fact, if you look closely, the goose waited for his moment just right. The guy looks at the goose, just before the goose attacks him. The goose waited until he turned around again. The goose was very clever. The goose was totally in control during the takedown into the water. The guy is lucky the goose decided to let him go.

From my point of view it seemed the goose wanted to mate with him...
The fisherman just got too friendly! And the goose got mixed signals.

Serves him right. Fishing as a sport instead of for a meal is ridiculous. Bird got pissed of when he threw out a perfectly good fish, hooked for nothing.
Being a long-time and avid kayaker, this has never happened to me. But,often being awed and learning much from nature on a first-hand basis, this video does show me that there is much still to be learned.
