Both drivers were very brave. If not for the weight of the lumber on the back - they would have been washed down the river. I think those trucks are Russian Scammells, from World war 2, - I think. Those trucks are insanely big, the wheels are around 3 or 4 feet diameter.

Theese are Ural trucks. Very robust russian-made machines, like AKs, unlike their cars

#9 plus that 'stop n'glitch' at the beginin looked like getting the oil pumpin' lil'more hot, so that crossing through cold water keep truck out of jammin': which gets me the idea entire film was taken for a reason, not only for the cargo wealth. were there more than just five ppl?! i wonder. max
