The eating part of the show is the only real bit, the rest of the show is staged, or most of it anyway. Plenty of proof on youtube. He used to sleep in hotels as well!!!
I'd hate to be that camera man, - "say it don't spray it!!"

That guy has a TV show out on discovery, it's called Man vs. Wild. He does find water and shelter, but I would have packed a cheeseburger.

#3 They're not trying to make it look like he's trying to survive. Ever noticed how he has a whole camera crew with him? He's just showing how to handle certain situations in a totally bad ass way.

#14 agree with you.... this show doesnt really want to make us believe he is surviving in the pure wild... of course a part is staged... but his advices are real and everything he says could be usefull if we really facing this situation. He rocks
