I don't know what to say. The accuracy and precision is too good to be true. Someone tell me if this is real.
It's not #2 for three very obvious reasons: First of all, a nail gun needs to be pressed against a wall to release a safety mechanism to actually fire the nail into it, otherwise you would shoot somebody if you pulled the trigger accidentally. Granted, this safety feature could be disabled for "painting". But, if you look at the nails in the close up they are all at the same angle despite him standing in one spot and not to mention that the nails pop up on the canvas in all sorts of places despite him pointing the gun somewhere else.

What was the point of that? To fake at having talent? Grats?
#3 Agreed...something seems very off about this video. Angle? positioning? I don't know but the end result does look nice

the nails he shows in the wood are not those that can be used in a nail gun. End of story ![]()

The firing rate is dodgy (look at him pulling the trigger vs the number hitting the board). The nails used (seen at the end) have large heads on them which don't work in a nail gun. Also the banter of the other workers and the bad acting by all gives it away!
Good idea though!

It is very satisfying in a way to work in special effects (as low-key as it may be) and seeing things like this on the internet, especially when you have done something like this before. Granted, it wasn't nail-related, but chomping up a mask that covers the final product (which obviously was real) is REALLY easy to do. Think about it, what half way reasonable explanation is there for why someone would LAY the camera on a table while this was happening.... (besides the ALL of the other problems with it), if it wasn't to make it easier for guys like me? Especially since nobody EVER thinks to stabilize a camera these days, even in movies.
One very obvious mistake ....any one here ever seen a bullet ? a flat head nail ..the nails used there would never fly straight they would catch the air and fly all over the placed , straight nails might have a chance.
#9 and #10 these can be used in a nail gun. I've used them before for roofing but look at the wire that holds the nails together....they are all cut in the middles. Shooting them through the gun wouldn't cut them all in the middle like that.

The way you get tell it is fake is when he grabs the camera and points it toward the man, loosing sight of the painting for a breif moment. Viral imo.

The biggest give away is at the very end, when the mouth finishes itself, after the gun has already stopped.
this one reminds me of the vid with that guy throwing the sawblade...

The speed at which the shadow/sun on the wall moves shows that this was a stop-motion animation, with someone nailing by hand and sequencing the frames. Dudes added in later. Still a nice film, good idea.
This one must be fake. He doesn't even aim where he hits. And if he hits a nail that's allready in it would bounce off. And that never happens even once.
Haha...Sooo Fake! Look at 0:57. The sleeve of the guy on the left is underneath the painting for a second. You would see it better on youtube.
Even though the gun can be modded to fire like that, this is a viral for sure. None the less, pretty cool.

at 0:10 you see the sun on the canvas jump an inch down, proving the fake-ness
