When the cat is so focused on its target, it pays no attention to what happens behind it. A colleague of mine sneaked behind one, and stepped on its tail (barely touched it). It jumped 180 like burned!

I'm not sure if I'm pointing out something obvious here, but the cats immediate reaction is to play dead in a desperate hope to fool the bird to feel safe.. well funny video, still.
