Rain in that quantity can ruin a city and people can get hurt losing control of their cars and stuff!

This footage doesn't do justice to what happened, the extent of the damage or the size of the hail in some areas which truly was as large as the clichéd 'golf balls'.

#17 you cant say that... it happened real fast no one can expect for that even the weather forecast only give warning for thunderstorm not hail on that day

im on that street at that moment, but its 5 blocks away from the video
12 afternoon still sunny
1 pm you can see thick cloud from far places yet still sunny at city area
later you know, hails coming like crazy follow by flash flood

My dad was in geelong just 50km from here.. im pretty sure he would have told me if there was hail stones the size of marbles! Id love to see something like that
