This is exactly why people use microsoft products. They don't even know they are using them. Because obviously "internet explorer"=internet and windows=computer. And router=internet provider. People are dumb.

hehe..since it seems that their browsers are search engines..they should lookup "Browser"
But some people just are like that..you can delete all desktop items and rename the browser to "Double click me for internet" and they still ask.."whats a double click?"

I prefer internet explorer tbh..For me its the fastest. I've tried firefox..didnt like it sorry

#21 firefox is not complicated. It's simple: you just use it. Lots of people say it's confusing because of all the addons. Newsflash: you don't have to use them if you don't like them!

#9 Most of the people that I know that don't know the difference don't use a PC at all. They went out and bought a MAC because someone told them to. They still just use it and have no idea what they are doing. Just keep Googling, Just keep Googling, Just keep Googling.

it may seem like the easiest question in the world for us, but i guess actually a lot of people don't know much about IT stuff, but if they did, i wouldn't have a job anyway

#9 ... some people I know talk about their pc (case+internals) as the "hard drive". It is not necessarily that people are "retarded" but they do not need to know what is what, just how to use it.
And yeah, masses are the same ones that elect presidents and change our "future"... talk about more complex topics and you hack their brain.

they should have said WEBbrowser..
cause a browser could also be a filemanager, say explorer for windows, finder for mac, dolphin for kde (linux) etc.

i think Google Chrome is the best actually. For me it's the fastest. To others it's not...some people say firefox is faster and some people say google chrome is faster.

I think it's a skewed answer base. After all it's daytime, and the real computer geeks are still locked inside their lairs trying to get a kernel to compile, or sleeping, or gaming, or watching videos on snotr.

safari is the best browser im afraid.. 30 times faster than internet explorer! 6 times faster than firefox. best when its running on a gorgeous sexy mac! haha pc's are awful and so is windows!

#36 No but nice try... a thrush bearing is a part of the main bearings for the crankshaft. The thrush bearings are located at the far ends of the crankshaft and help keep the crankshaft from moving forward or backwards in the block.

I use Firefox mainly as my I.E. crashes alot and although it is polite and says it's sorry and thanks for the report you sent. Goggle, we won't go there, I did give it ago....

Yeah i use google chrome. It is awesome. Search anything in the web page bar. && its so simple, and uses almost no RAM

You're comparing knowing what the lets say the north bridge of a pc is vs what a browser is. Or in car terms knowing what a thrush bearing is vs what a wheel is.
The sad thing is that all those noobs are fucking it up for the rest of us who know what we are doing. All the crap unnecessary safety features in OS'es for instance. The use of laptops (throw away product, bound by manufacturer of the whole thing) at home instead of desktops. All the nagging about leaks here and there that wouldn't be a problem unless an idiot is working with the computer. Buying (expensive) crApple products instead of actually good products. And so on... And so on...

No matter what subject in the entire universe you wish to refer to, there will always be noobs and they will always interact with something that they don't understand. Just because they don't understand something doesn't mean that they will cease interaction. And if this was the case, all understanding and progress would cease...
I know that noobs can be annoying and are also (at times) a source of amusement, but lets all be honest... Were any of born with the understanding of any skills that we now have other than eating, sleeping, breathing, and shitting?
We all had to start somewhere...
And as far as the crap "bloatware"... I just remove or turn it all off because I know how. Don't you do the same?
