Crows are considered to be probably the most smart birds in the world. It's incredible what they can learn just by observing.

I just tried the technique and when I was climbing down to get the nut a damn crow swooped down and took it! they really are smart

The crow is clever but the eagle that #(removed comment) refers to is plain scary! The music helps create the mood. Sounds like it was taken from The Hills Have Eyes (*smothers scream*).

I'm starting to think Attenborough makes this shit up. He's just so much better than everyone else that I'm starting to wonder.
#(removed comment) is probably right though. A lot of this is editing.
Every autumn I can see Daurian Jackdaws yielding the hazel trees in front of my window in the exact same way. That's really an awesome behaviour and since I live here I highly respect these birds for their smartness.

That crow is playing with death with all those vehicles all over the place. He should chose a less crosded street to drop nuts on. Really smart bird though!
