1 guy invents a hovercraft that also flies, yet the whole US can barely make a hovercraft that goes over 50 km/h.

Oh wow, I can just imagine how it would touch the water wrong and smack over on it's back with the head of the passenger drilling into the bottom of the river.
Otherwise, it looks very nice to 'ride' in a plane like that

#4 This guy from NZ is dishonest and a fraud and did not "invent" the flying hovercraft.
From the "real" inventors site:
"Earlier today and last evening news networks around the world aired a story based on incorrect facts regarding a “Flying Hovercraft” supposedly designed by Rudy Heeman of Nelson New Zealand. The fact is that ground effect hovercrafts were invented by an American engineer named Bob Windt of Illinois. He and the company Universal Hovercraft have been designing flying hovercrafts for 14 years. The first Universal Hovercraft prototype took flight in 1996 on the Mississippi River near Cordova Illinois."

If it could go higher and the wings would be retractable it could have serious future potential. One big problem the days with new things like flying. To much safety crap to have to deal with.

#(removed comment) When you grow a brain you will learn to read and comprehend information better. I said 50km/h, not 70 mph.

#25 You said "the whole US can barely make a hovercraft that goes over 50 km/h."
@#(removed comment) it was pointed out to you that the hovercraft company in the US makes them that go OVER 70MPH which is over 112km/h. ( you see,112km/h is way more than 50km/h ) So it looks like YOU are the one who needs to grow a brain. The comprehension problem seems to be with YOU.

#26 and what you fail to understand is that I wasn't pointing out the fact that the speeds reached by said craft exceed 70mph, I was merely stating that one man has built a craft that is more technologically advanced then the whole of the US can acomplish. The speed has nothing to do with my arguement though I do enjoy taking you neanderthals down a few pegs.

#27 you are right, everyone of us in the United States has been working day and night to build a better hovercraft and we just couldn't do it. It was hard to work on the hovercraft and cause all the world's problems at the same time. Now this guy comes along a beats us. Now what should I work on? I guess now ALL Americans can concentrate on screwing up the world.

He ought do his home work before he goes public and makes claims to have invented something he didn't.
i just read the news release at that other website.
"Flying Hovercraft Man Stealing Credit".
The Amercians had already done it and better, though maybe his is just a ( slower) different design.
ps. the Americans still haven't invented a hovercraft which will work in the moon ! ! :-P
