explanation for the gunshots: wedding. It's common when there is some kind of celebration to shot in the air, weddings and birth of a child (male especially) at most.

though Ingushetiya is part of Russia, the people who jumped out of cars are not Russians, they are Ingushetiyan, I'd say and they resemble all the other hot Caucasian people like Georgians, Armenians and Azerbaidzhan - all of them are hot temperament guys and usually blood is boiling in their veins. That's why the driving style of theirs is so weird and mere discussions between them always are followed with some shots. And, they do look like two groups of mafia going somewhere. That's not ok even for Russia. It is somewhere outside of urban zone and it should not be crowded like this.

Notice though, once it looks like it could turn into a fight, everyone hops out of their car and prevent the fight from happening, you wouldnt see that in the western world where everyone would shit their pants and stay into their car.
