#10 75% of all learning is visual. So, having a visual medium as effective as this to illustrate the lecture would definitely increase student comprehension and retention. It doesn't have to be used as a joke, but tactful humor inserted into a lesson is always a plus. The shadow moving differently than the instructor could be used in many different ways to point out vital information while at the same time holding student attention. By the way, I'm not the one who voted you down on your post. I thought you had a legitimate question. Also, it would be "their attention" not "there attention". Couldn't help it. The teacher in me just came out.
