#6 really? you are like those americans from before sand don't know shit and still you must say something. Those kind of planes get hit by lighting all the time. they got the body made based on princilpe of Faraday cage. there is estimated that an plane is hit by lightning at least one time in a year. you can see the same video and here: http://www.descopera.ro/dnews/4577669-fulgere-versus-avioane.

#6 Planes use faraday cages to protect the inside of it ... cos every electronics components gets burn out with the volts and the amps of a lightning.

How come my name never appears next to the videos I submit?
I'm seriously asking as a help question btw, not trying to complain! Am I doing something wrong during submission?

#6 "Planes use faraday cages to protect the inside of it"
Not insulting you but a plane does not use on it is one as a faraday cage is (wiki)
A Faraday cage, or Faraday shield, is an enclosure formed by conducting material or by a mesh of such material.
Then again id like to see the same video but with a light air craft made of carbon fiber or similar material getting hit and results.

Ok so after seeing a few responses, time to respond myself. The only reference i found to a faraday cage was at this link when i tried searching out numerous keywords with lightning and airplane in different variations. http://www.lightning.org/?page=lpi_information&subnav=faq&FAQ1=VEHICLES+/+TRANSPORTATION
And the other articles i found didnt mention a faraday cage at all, but described a system similar to one
http://www.lightningtech.com/d~ta/faq1.html
In 1836, Michael Faraday observed that the charge on a charged conductor resided only on its exterior and had no influence on anything enclosed within it. To demonstrate this fact, he built a room coated with metal foil and allowed high-voltage discharges from an electrostatic generator to strike the outside of the room. He used an electroscope to show that there was no electric charge present on the inside of the room's walls.
Quoted from wiki
Thats a faraday cage, everything else is just a protection against current, but is not a faraday cage.
