Mmm i think the sound is fake, as it probably didn't sound so cool when it was recorded. Though the prank is probably real, if they picked it up, it would go off, though it probably sounds rather lame once recorded. I believe they edited it and made it louder once recorded.

#8, -likely you're right, as the device is rather some distance from the camcorder, --this does not in any way detract from the clever fun of the device, overdubbing the audio is just a legit way of enabling the PC-viewer to audibly experience a similar aural-reaction to that surprising the naive victim; --seems like really good fun to most normal people-pranksters, we all need a good laugh, even if it's on us...!!! ~R.vH in sandiego

Id make a note and stick it on the box "Also feel free to visit piratebay.org for a real Free copy" and also i have a PCB here with a speaker thats 10mm and the circuit is all on on chip whole thing is about 3cmx3cm and he call's that a micro ...all that for a very simple sound to produce

I'm surprised that in today's world that they would want to pick up an object, such as this CD case. I would expect to see people run or back away.
