You don't need gas to use the claw. It's all hydraulics.

You can clearly hear the engine running. Maybe the gearbox is broken or something else to stop it driving. It obviously has fuel though.

definitely not out of gas, but rather a mobility issue, unless hydraulic pump runs on battery driven system...highly unlikely, and would be dead pretty quick.

#2. What do you think powers the compressor which pressurises the hydraulic system? Gas, or to be more precise... Diesel.
