It never ceases to amaze me when people realise that animals are sentient beings that do more than just exist to eat and mate. I don't know what this guy was smoking when the idea to tickle rats as a scientific study came to him but some one needs to fund him so that he can help us understand better the emotions and feelings of other animals.
::(|) ::(|) ::(|) For him
::(|) ::(|) ::(|) For the clip

Im sorry again people starving in the world and it takes him years to figure out how to use transducer to figure out a rat laughs ?? its like giving some group a million dollars to fund a study to find out why prisioners try to escape from prision .....sad place we live in with some ever sadder people

#16 such research does not take millions. Point two scientist like to find and then figure out problems, evan when they look at first look stupid and useless. Its like training. Why do you do math at school, will you need it? Evan if you would work as a barman, math rises your IQ, logical thinking graitly. Some chinase scientist tried to find the elaxier of eternal youth (stupid, huh) and did research gunpowder at the end. There are a lot of such examples.

#17 Wow what an example he discovered gun powder

"Academics argue the Chinese wasted little time in applying gunpowder to warfare"

"There was once a great deal of confusion and controversy surrounding the invention of firearms, but it is now generally accepted that firearms originated in China."

Thanks China.

And i never said he used millions , and he did say after YEARS , it took him years to discover this and back in 9th century a monk was able to discover gunpowder ? sorry i do not see scientists these days as value for money.

I must admit that I find it quitte useless. They studied this for years? What have they done all of these years:S. It's a funny video tho. The rats seem to enjoy it.

"we asked the rats if they liked it.. ..they said yes"
If only they asked that in the beginning, we could have avoided a lot of needless research!
