Well, it was a technical knockout specially since it hit his jaw. Hitting the face is painful but hitting the jaw paralyzes a person body instantly.

I don't think he was just knocked out. What he does with his arms is called decorticate rigidity, it is a type of posturing related to neurological damage normally from trauma. His busted jaw, and kinked legs are the least of his worries. Looks like he snapped his neck back which may have pinched or severed part of his spinal cord.
