I think #3 has it. Check out his butt at 0:27 and 1:19. That, or invisible monkeys or leprechauns are supporting him.

I'm pretty sure this is the answer. Imagine a "seat" made of high strength materials consisting of the following; one long leg that trails up behind the mans leg starting in the floor until it reaches his bottom where there is small cups for buttock support; the "seat" then continues up his spine giving him lumbar support and finally stretches across his shoulders slightly. The pants go on the "seat" first and then he gets in to them. The it's just a matter of wrapping the shirt around him and the back support and belting him up. Long answer sorry, wish I could just draw you a picture.

It would just be a metal frame running up his leg, ass and back contoured to fit his body and being strapped to it, although it would get quite uncomfortable after a while having to keep your foot on your knee like that and not being able to move. Here is the story on this advertisement http://designyoutrust.com/2010/05/08/a-man-sits-on-an-invisible-chair-at-the-airport/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+dyt+%28Design+You+Trust.+World%27s+Most+Famous+Social+Inspiration.%29

It's an ancient Indian trick. It's a metal support bar running from the base of his foot that runs up his leg, a thin flat bar as a seat that also runs up his back.

It's funny how there are some of us out there who really arn't that impressed by this "illusion" lol it looks cool n all but theres obviously a very strong metal support that is shaped to go up his leg and sit him comfortably like that.

#5 I prefer to think that your theory is the answer

i think #3 is right, his shirt doesnt look like its squashed against anything, so it can't be a near invisible polymer supporting him outside his shirt, my initial guess was he lay naked on a board that extended from his neckline to his ankle on the floor, and then the pants and the shirts were put on afterward, I'm guessing he cannot move about in that position, apart from putting the upper leg down.
