Fun but its lego, the chances something "breaks" is gigantic, especially in a contraption such as this. I bet he spent more time putting pieces together when they fell off than firing the rifle itself.

That is brilliant!

LEGO is great for your children, i quite happy now that my parents got me LEGO when I was young, it made me quite efficient at solving puzzles (not only cardboard :p )and such.

My worry would be that somewhere in his house is a real sniper rifle that he used to copy the design and mechanism.
