Christians obssess about Biblical taboos against homosexuality because it is something they can all get behind with no cost to themselves.
They ignore all the other things considered taboo, like eating shellfish, wearing cloth of two fabrics and the rest, and especially ignore where Jesus says to give all your wealth away to the poor and to forgive those who trespass against you.

#34, that's an interesting theory. It is however nothing more than a theory, and has not been proven. Personally I don't subscribe to that view. Homosexuality is a disorder in some people which causes them to behave in this abnormal way. It can't be 'cured', so it's better to just simply eradicate it.
On the subject of population explosion, the catholic church has a great deal to answer for, with it's mediaeval stance on contraception and abortion. Get rid of religion, begin providing dumb Africans with condoms, and we'll be well on our way to coping with potential global catastrophe.

#39, yes, religion is very dangerous, and should be removed from our society. But unlike homosexuality, religion 'can' be cured. People just have to be educated, and the barriers erected by generations of indoctrination must be torn down. This is where religion differs completely from homosexuality. It's impossible to 'educate' a faggot into being normal. He's born a faggot and he'll die a faggot - and the quicker he dies, the better, obviously.
Your assertion that there are normal people having sex with animals etc, is a very odd thing to say, since the very fact that they want to have sex with animals etc, means 'ipso facto' that they are 'not' normal. Do you understand now?
