#2 It is a different video. The train driver saw the pram early and managed to stop just as it hit the pram. The pram was one of those 3 wheeled type (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=130OVZcMEcA) that was parked sideways but cause onlt one wheel at the front started to roll. Mother still should have been watching, there was plenty of time to stop it.

This kind of thing isn't even in the parent's manual. When there's 200tons of steel approaching you and your baby, you should have enough brain power to understand the necessity of taking care of your child.

There are many ways to avoid this kind of accident:
Always park a pram that even if the breaks fail it would do no harm to the baby (heading at an nearby obstacle for example).
The breaks on prams should be always ON until you push it like the breaks on luggage trolleys, but that's something the pram industry must do.

Unbelievable all the dumb people here. Yes you saying that this parent is stupid for letting something like this happen. Like it couldn't happen to you!!?? Your attention can't drift of for a few seconds especially during routine acts?
- Accidents happen.
- The strawler is at a reasonable distance from the edge.
- It happens in 3 seconds.
- The ground shouldn't slope towards the edge.
- Baby was trying to get out.
Now tell me again why the parent is so stupid? It's simply a set of circumstances in which accidents are more prone to happen.
The only thing that could have been done better by the paren was not to point the strawler towards the train/edge.
