I live in Spain and I have a friend who knows "silbo", he says that it's easy to learn, but I think that he always says the same when he's "silbing"

Yodeling was a way of communicating in the mountains as well before it became a way of "singing"

All they need is a loudspeaker instead of whistling around. I bet i become rich if i come to that place as the loudspeaker inventor.

I wonder if a wolf whistle has the same meaning? If so #6 might want to 'strike up a conversation' with 0:35

I was on holidays in La Gomera and there was a woman directly across the road from our villa who would communicate with her husband using this language.
It was awesome.
Great that it's being taught in the schools now because then they were worried it was dying out.
