many times id like to go back in time and show people a few years ago what we have now...
Im 30 years old almost, and im quite proud that my generation knew the explosion and developpement of so many cool things like the internet, PCs, mobile phones, video games, TV's...

But its no doubt that in 10 or 20 years people will also laugh about us and the stuff we are using now...

#(removed comment) I think that voting system on Snotr can be abused cause some people are here for achievements and that is idiotic. So I do this: when I don't like some comments I just ignore them, but if they are too vulgar or offensive then I downrate them. Maybe it's dumb but that's I do
Sorry for long comment

My wife had a nice Motorola unit in '93. It was only half that size. ;) In other words, it was the size of a standard desk phone, weighed about 4 pounds and you carried it around in a camera bag. :D Hey, I think it's still in the basement - what do you think they would say at the local cell store if I brought that in and wanted it activated? >:)

These items are still at large today. They are used for many different functions.

-A step stool for reaching the top shelf
-Boat anchors
-Counter-weights for the Leaning Tower of Pisa
-Equipment for the NEW P90X WORK OUT VIDEOS!

#(removed comment) no, you are able to downrate comments that you dislike, however you cannot go ahead and downrate every comment. I am not saying you are, but hopefully that answers your question.

I downrated most of your comments because of your pomposity, but i didn't rate your comment down which was factual. That is how it works.

I owned one of those back in those days and boy were people jealous. Of course it was heavy as hell and battery time very short.

The first mobile phone I used back in the '70's used an "operator" to connect the call for you....kind of like a ship-to-shore phone or radio operator. Price per minute was close to one dollar. Some of those early phones cost over a thousand dollars.

Bertie - just so you know, tomas, as an admin, can tell exactly how many times you dowrate or uprate comments and videos. We have problems with people that just give thumbs down all the time, the way I see it, if it's that bad then go someplace else because you (not meaning you neccesarily) obviously aren't getting anything enjoyable out of the site. Some people downrate all the comments so theirs stands out or because they're just assholes that need a life. So if he feels that you're (again, not neccesarily you) abusing the privilege he sends a warning. Please feel free to up or downrate comments and videos to your hearts content. Some people never leave comments but just come on and rate the videos and the comments they enjoy or hate. All I ask is that if you find yourself dowrating much more often than you uprate, then maybe this isn't the place for you and perhaps you should look for your entertainment elsewhere. Sorry this is longwinded but it needed to be said not just for you but for ALOT of other people out there, you know who you are. Sorry I wasn't here to answer your question earlier as I am not on 24 hours a day, I have a life.
Peace!
