edison was a phoney and given too much credit for items which he stole and patented first. tesla was original and deserved much more

#6 Your right too they both had amazing ideas and inventions i dont know what all the buzz about edision i mean come on tesla invented the coolest toy in the world the tesla coil :P

I managed to get a Collage in Sweden named after Tesla. They are currently in the proses of changing their name.

Yeah!Edison was an American no wonder more credit as usual. They think they always come first in everything in the world. Sad state of affairs.............

The problem with Tesla was that he transgressed the Law 9: Win through your Actions, Never through Argument; He just went against one of the big three of that time (Ford, Edison and Rockefeller) of course he got beaten down.

#7 Tesla was born in Croatia but he is Serbian. His father was an Orthodox priest.

#13 Tesla was born in Austro-Hungarian empire, and he was serbian nationality. Croatia doesn`t exist until 1990.
