I was expecting to see the Blue Falcon ... and Dynomutt, Dog Wonder.
Wish I could be a pilot... but I don't have 20/20 vision so I can't... ![]()
that is one of the most amazing and at the same time relaxing videos i ever watched, 5 stars, want more of that! =3
#2 You still can, certain places they do accept people without 20/20 in vision, for example the navy and other branches, along with (obviously) shitmercial airlines.
Couldn't even think of stepping into a jet since my legs are too long... It should be the most amazing sensation on earth. Or... well, you see my point. ![]()

Imagine being in an elevator and from a standstill, the elevator to go up at 60kmph.. that's about what the guy felt at 2:46 ..
Oh and for the ones that wondered, song is "FC Kahuna - Hayling" ,album name "Machine says yes"

maybe the us should paint all their jets that colour, then the british troops will know when to run and hide so they dont get bombed

@(removed comment):46 The pilot is using a technique called The Anti-G Straining Maneuver to control his breathing and prevent blood from pooling in his extremities. Tightening of the muscles and controlled breathing are aided by the G-Suit to prevent black-out during high-G maneuvers.
#4 The Red Arrows only fly trainer jets , not F/A 18 Hornet fighter jets like the Blue Angels. You were saying.....?

#15 even seen the red arrows ?? guess not otherwise you knew it's not the plane that makes the show........

#16 I saw the Red Arrows show over New York City and they were great, but a relatively slow trainer jet is not capable of wowing the crowd like full-on fighter pilots can while flying top-of-the-line combat jets. To say one team or the other is "better" is just nonsense.....they are just different.
And on a sad note:

To be specific these are F/A-18E/F Super Hornets, Probably the best plane the US Navy has until the F-35s go into service.
The Blue Angels also have a C-130 named Fat Albert that does some pretty incredible stunts too, like JATO rocket assist short take-offs.
FFWD to 0:40 on video below....

admiral and rear-admiral, blue-navy and yellow, the scoutin' superhornets fleet, and forthcomin' the f-35s, plus the FatAlbert C-130 hence maybe of some usmc and seals scoutin' - i would gladly assign the team at least a heavy flyer, deffinitely not a c5-galaxy, not necessarily a boeing 747, deffinitely not a Gulfstream V (eventhough ought to flying one), yet one heavy jet still capable of landing on a carrier: anyone any idea?!
brilliant video..... thanks v much uploader.
i've seen the blue angels twice, on one occasion in england and in the netherlands. they amazed me both times, they make most other display teams look like amateurs (barring the thunderbirds)

Thanks CleverPrick, glad to see you still hanging in there.
#20 I have yet to see where the Blue Angels have switched to the larger Super Hornet. Can you verify that?

#12 that wasn't a sonic boom, just fomration of condensation from a drop in pressure on top of the wings resulting from a high G maneuver

Another jetfighter video... BOOORING.
I saw a Blue Angels show back in the early 90's in Finland and was suitably impressed. Loved the part where they kept everyone's attention in one direction while one plane sneaked around behind the audience and buzzed everyone by surprise.
