basically the russians didnt know how to make them in the 1930s! but 74 years later and nobody has invented one? looked like a good idea to me!

If this machine did come to be mass produced by world war two it would have a massive strategic value to the Russians and the war might have been over earlier, unfortunately they didnt.

The Ruskies also attempted to develop a jet submarine/hydrofoil/aircraft but the 1st prototype was destroyed in testing.

the design in the video is not the only one, there has been one larger version, still powered by only three propeller aircraft: i'm still looking for retrieving some intel on wiki'es

Mmmyeah, but the crew would need some sofisticated and heavy gear-suits. Humans cannot stand the atmospheric difference between too high and too deep altitudes. There is a generic rule, don't fly the same day you dive, yo'll get your blood like the "milka trufle" chocolate, air bubbles, and you'll get the "death disease" :D
